A couple of days later, I ventured outdoors to capture some icy, snowy macro images in my garden since the snowy mix we'd had earlier in the week hadn't melted due to two days running of cold temperatures. Clockwise from top left below: Rosemary, Camellia in bud, Vinca covered with ice and snow and a faded Hydrangea blossom encased in an ice and snow mix.
I'm posting this to Macro Monday over at Lisa's Chaos... come on over and join the fun!
Love the colors in your iPhone shot, Victoria!
ReplyDeleteAnd we've got snow too.
Cool photos, the macro lens for iPhone sounds pretty interesting.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad macro for an iPhone. Great colors!

ReplyDeleteHi there - I always like the images of plants growing out of snow - not that I have much chance to take such pictures at present!

Love the colours in the iPhone shot and the snow ones are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMój iPhone takich zdjęć by nie zrobił, to już prawie staruszek, ma 4 lata :-). Zdjęcia z lodem są całkiem ładne. Pozdrawiam. *** My iPhone, such images would not do, it's almost an old man, has four years :-). Photos of ice are quite nice. Yours.
ReplyDeleteDziękuję za miła rewizytę i chcę powiedzieć, że Tłumacz spisał się :-), zrozumiałam. Pozdrawiam. *** Thank you for the nice return visit and I want to say that the translator did a :-), I understood. Yours.
ReplyDeleteI just love the colors of that iPhone macro, Victoria. Amazing what these phone apps can do!
ReplyDeleteIf the weather does here what they say it will--below freezing all week--I may have the chance to use my macro lens outside on snow/frost yet this winter. I can hardly wait. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy yours and get inspired!
I like the photo of the rosemary peeking out from under the snow the best of all these. :) On the subject of blogging regularly, what I do is if I've taken a bunch of photos I want to share, I create several posts on my blog at one time when I have a block of time and save them, then can go back and publish them at my leisure. If I tried to sit down and do a post a every day or two from scratch, I don't think I would be able to keep up!
